USB port ++ means not another special cord. I wish my cell phone would be so sensible.
Readjusts smoothly when I don't go exactly the way it wants.
Seems to be going at clearance prices at many places.
This was such a huge bang for the buck on clearance (I paid around , but would still have been happy at a slightly higher price), I bought another one for my wife.
If you are used to these units, it may not have all the bells and whistles you want, but for an entry level unit, I am pleased.]

I bought this product because it was in my price range. I really couldn’t afford even the intro garmin nuvis. It was really easy to get set up and the touch screen was the most sensitive (in a good way) that I have used on a gps. I decided to test it throughout the day, going to places I know and that is when it kind of started to unravel. A couple times it gave me wrong directions and it was not too quick on the draw as to tell me what directions to go. Unlike my girldriend’s mio, it did not take me from large parking lots to streets and once you followed the next direction it was done talking. the mio tells you to continue on your rout for x amount of distance which i like. the manual zoom is a pain, like some of these other reviews state.
i ended up taking it back. If this really is your only option, go a head. It’ll get you by. But these devices go on sale all the time. I ended up getting the mio moov m400 for the same price (on sale) and i like it way better.

I’ve never owned a GPS before but thought for less than 0, I would give this one a shot.
Likes: Thin, bright screen, volume is good. Says the street name, which I really like – this is something that you don’t always find in lower end GPS. It has been accurate each time I have used it with no crazy u-turns or anything else like that.
One thing I’m not crazy about: The use of the features is not always clear to me and I find it a little confusing.
Generally really pleased with this purchase – all my friends who spent $$$$$ on GPS can’t believe this has so much function for so little money.

I purchased this after returning a similar Nextar unit that would not boot properly. While the Magellan does not have the MP3 and picture viewing capabilities that the Nextar unit did it does have over 6 million POI’s where the Nextar had just 1 million or so. Frankly, I have an MP3 player already so why do I need one in my GPS.
The speaker seems a little fuzzy when set at the higher volume level but it is still understandable. Excellent value for the .00 or so I paid for it.
